The 2nd year takes place with 20 weeks at the School, 34 weeks in a business, at a rhythm of four weeks in School followed by four weeks in a business until mid-May and then full-time in the business. The student begins specialising in the areas of excellence of the School with a major in “Fundamentals of complex systems design” and a minor in “Mechanical design”.
The lessons of the minor are designed in project-based learning around a common thread project, proposed by a partner business (with EDF: design of an offshore wind farm).
