Created jointly in 2012 by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, three schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris and Télécom Paris) and Mines Paris, SPEIT has just welcomed 106 new students.
ENSTA Paris is leading this Franco-Chinese cooperation on the French side.
SPEIT is based on the French model of engineering training (classes préparatoires and cycle ingénieur) to train young scientific, trilingual and multicultural engineers over a 6.5-year cycle.
Today, more than 550 students study engineering the French way at SPEIT.
This academic year, 106 new students joined the 1st year of training. Each year, 8 of the very best SPEIT students are selected for a double degree at ENSTA Paris.
