ENSTA Paris is committed to protecting the privacy of persons using its website or using one of its proposed services, as well as the confidentiality of the personal information provided.

Collection of personal data by the site

This site complies with the following rules:

If nominative information is collected through forms accessible by the site, these are used by ENSTA Paris to respond to your requests. They are intended for the services of ENSTA Paris responsible for their processing.

Data Protection and Freedom of Information Policy for candidates applying for positions at ENSTA Paris

ENSTA Paris collects, uses and protects the personal data of applicants in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted on 14 April 2016 and entered into force on 25 May 2018, and the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, amended in 2018 to comply with the GDPR.

The legal basis for collecting personal data in the context of a recruitment campaign is the “legitimate interest” that binds the candidate to the recruiter. This data is the CV and any elements that highlight the candidate’s training, skills and/or experience. They are used by the HRD and the technical department in which the position is to be filled to select candidates and organize job interviews.

Two cases arise:

  • The candidate is hired: the data is kept and used for the administrative management of their file throughout their mission at ENSTA Paris;
  • The candidate is not selected: the data is destroyed. If ENSTA Paris wishes to keep the data to form an applicant pool, the consent of the applicant shall be requested and the retention period indicated.

In accordance with the GDPR, candidates have the following rights regarding their personal data:

  • Information rights (Art. 13 and 14) and access rights (Art. 15)
  • Rights of rectification and erasure (Art. 16 and 17)
  • Right to object (Art. 21).

 

E-mail addresses, fax and telephone numbers available on the site

The site distributes e-mail addresses, fax and telephone numbers of ENSTA Paris staff to allow you to access contact information more quickly. This information may not be used for any other purpose, including commercial prospecting. Any misuse of personal data will be the subject of a complaint by ENSTA Paris to the police authorities with the criminal consequences attached to this type of crime.

Principle of operation of cookies

Audience measurement

In accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL, this site currently uses Matomo as an audience measurement tool.
This tool respects your privacy, if you have activated the "Do No Track" option in your browser Matamo does not track your visits. Your IP address is anonymized.

SendInBlue

We use the SendInBlue solution for sending mailings and processing data related to subscriptions to our newsletters. For this purpose, the transmitted data are processed in accordance with the SendInBlue privacy policy and in compliance with the GDPR. Learn more
