70 million euros for the Hi! PARIS Cluster 2030 consortium

The consortium led by IP Paris and its five schools (École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis) and HEC Paris has just won, through the joint interdisciplinary center Hi! PARIS, a call for projects as part of the IA Cluster plan launched in June 2023 by the government.

The announcement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron in front of France's top artificial intelligence talent gathered at the Élysée Palace on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Hi! PARIS Cluster 2030 will be funded to the tune of 70 million euros over 5 years.

The project will focus on excellence in research, education, innovation, technology transfer and training diversity.

It covers different areas of artificial intelligence and is aimed at specialized profiles, from researchers working on general AI to those focusing on specific application areas. This will be particularly the case at ENSTA Paris, where the Computer Science and Systems Engineering Laboratory (U2IS) will be focusing on the application of artificial intelligence to robotics.

In this context, the future robotics platform at ENSTA Paris, an experimental facility dedicated to research, teaching and partnerships, will be a key component of Hi! PARIS Cluster 2030.
