The consortium led by IP Paris and its five schools (École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis) and HEC Paris has just won, through the joint interdisciplinary center Hi! PARIS, a call for projects as part of the IA Cluster plan launched in June 2023 by the government.

The 41st annual Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference is being held in Seattle from 17 to 21 June 2024. On Thursday 20 June, Gianni Franchi, an ENSTA Paris lecturer and researcher specialising in trustworthy artificial intelligence, will be presenting a paper outlining his team's advances in adaptable Bayesian neural networks, a crucial issue in the management of uncertainty in neural networks.

In an article published on June 4 in the scientific journal Physical Review Fluids, Aurore Caquas looks back on part of her thesis, defended in December 2023 at ENSTA Paris and conducted under the supervision of Luc Pastur with funding from the CEA. In it, she presents different ways of emptying a bottle of water by spinning it to create a vortex. It's not as trivial a question as it might seem, since it concerns the safety of future nuclear reactors.
