ENSTA Paris is a member of many regional, national and international networks. Participation in these networks is a key strategic factor: it enhances the institute's educational resources by calling upon those of the partner institutions, reinforces collaboration in research and strenghtens the prestige of the institute.

Institut Polytechnique de Paris

IP Paris brings together five prestigious French engineering schools around a common ambition: to create a world-class Institute for cutting-edge research and training programs of excellence. The five founding institutions embody experience, history and roots, positioning IP Paris as a leading education and research institution in France and internationally.

Engineering schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense

While not being a military school, ENSTA Paris operates nonetheless under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense. This is due to history, and to the fact that it trains government engineers for the Ministry.

ENSTA Paris maintains a close relationship with the other engineering institutes also placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense: the École Polytechnique, ISAE and ENSTA Bretagne.

ENSTA Paris is one of the institutes agreed to offer final year training to Ecole Polytechnique students (both civilians and Arms engineers). Numerous exchanges in teaching staff offer mutual benefits. ENSTA's laboratories give their doctoral students access to École Polytechnique's doctoral teaching programme.

ENSTA and ISAE recruit undergraduate students through the same competitive examination. Moreover, an agreement provides for exchanges of last year engineering students between ENSTA and ISAE.
