End project

The end  project (PFE) makes up the engineer cycle final semester. It can take place in a company (the most frequent case) or in a public research institute. It constitutes the transition between the study period and the first job.

The PFE gives the student the opportunity to put into practice what has been learned at ENSTA, in particular the third year optional subjects, as part of their work as a graduate engineer. It takes place under the dual supervision of a permanent research professor at ENSTA acting as tutor, and a scientific or technical supervisor within the host institution.
